The Penguin Update launched on April 24. It was a change to Google’s search results that was designed to punish pages that have been links spamming Google.

Achieving Organic SEO
Achieving organic SEO can take time, but it also takes targeting the right elements of your web site.
You can spend a lot of time tweaking aspects of your site, only to find that it still ranks below the
third page of search results. If your attention is focused on the right elements, however, you’ll find
that organic SEO can be a fairly effective method of achieving a higher search engine ranking.
Make no mistake, however; organic SEO alone is not as effective as organic SEO combined with some
form of pay-per-click or keyword advertising program. Though organic SEO is good, adding the extra,
more costly programs can be what you need to push your site right to the top of the SERPs.
A good first step in search engine optimization is to ensure that the organic elements of your site
are as optimized as possible. Although these elements are covered in detail in future chapters, here
is a look at some of the basics.

What Is SEO Analysis

SEO analysis is a report that details how a website owner can improve his or her ranking on popular search engines. The analysis commonly looks for and evaluates duplicate content, inbound links to the website, and uniform resource locater (URL) structure.

Clocking in SEO?

 What is Clocking in SEO?
When a webmaster makes a web page specially for indexing in search engine and the actual service pages to be seen by people are maintained differently, this comes under clocking. So in my opinion it belongs black hat SEO technique.

 SEO redirects

These redirects
are often used in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or when a new website is
launched to make sure that old links are redirected to the correct, new content.
This is returned when the content was not found on the server, either
Because there was an error in the link, or because the content has been moved
or deleted. Website owners can design a custom page for when a 404 error
occurs, giving users useful information.
This information can be sent via Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), or
HTTPS, which is a combination of HTTP with a secure way of transmitting
information. HTTP makes it easy to request and transfer information. It’s
what makes our websites load, and allows us to connect with people on social
networks. However, the information that is transferred is not transferred
securely, meaning that it could be viewed by third parties. If this was the only
way of sending information online, it would be a bad idea to bank online, or
to purchase anything over the Internet. This is why we use HTTPS to encrypt
information when it is sensitive. In order to make use of HTTPS, the relevant
website needs to get a secure certificate, which ensures that various details
have been verified by a trusted third party.
If you’re unsure, look in the browser address bar to check whether the site you
are on is HTTP or HTTPS. Most browsers will indicate a secure site with a little
padlock in the address bar, or somewhere else in the browser, to make sure
that you know you are in a secure site.
How Do People Access the Internet?
People connect to the Internet and access content in many different ways.
When it comes to the physical connection to the Internet, the market presents
a number of options:
•       Dial-up
•       3G connections
•       WiFi and WiMax
•       Broadband
•       ADSL
The list goes on. The devices people use vary from mobile phones and handheld
small devices to personal notebooks and desktop computers. The environment
that people are in when they access the Internet also differs:
•       At home
•       At the office or place of work
•       Libraries and education centres
•       Internet cafes and coffee shops

Not only do these environmental factors affect how people use the Internet,
but their reasons for using the Internet also have an effect on how they interact
online.
For some people, it is primarily a communications channel, and their online
activity is focused on their email in box, while for others it may be a research
channel, with search engines playing a large role in their online experience.
Having such a diverse audience means that there are many channels available
to marketers when it comes to digital marketing.
What Does This All Have To Do With
Marketing?
Marketing is about conversations, and the Internet has become a hub of
conversations. The connected nature of the Internet allows us to follow
and track these conversations, and provides entry points for all parties.
